Leon Hospital Supports Police with First Aid Kits

Decatur County Hospital
Leon, IA

Decatur County Hospital has donated first aid kits to the police departments in Lamoni and Leon as well as the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department. Many times, local law enforcement officials are the first to respond to an accident and assist in starting treatment of wounds. Law enforcement officers work very closely with the hospital’s emergency team and the hospital recognizes that providing tools to aid first responders in their assistance will ultimately benefit patients. To ensure the kits remain useful in the long term, the hospital will replenish medical supplies for the kits as they are used by the officers.
